If you love Jeff Kinney’s Diary of a Wimpy Kid books, you’ll want to go and see the movie of the books when it comes out in cinemas in September.  It looks like it’s going to be a really cool movie and the kids that they’ve picked to play the characters are a pretty good match.  If you want to have a sneak peek at the movie you can watch the trailer below, or you could borrow The Wimpy Kids Movie Diary, a new book that we’ve got in the library about the making of the movie.  It’s also written by Jeff Kinney and he takes you on a behind the scenes tour, showing you how his books have been made into a movie.  There are photos of the characters from the movie comparing them to their cartoon characters from the book, information about the sets and the costumes, script pages, storyboard sketches, and all new original artwork from Jeff Kinney.
