What is the most boring book in the world?

WIN a copy of The Project

Brian Falkner has been blogging lately about his new book, The Project, which was originally going to be called The Most Boring Book in the World.  Thanks to Walker Books, to celebrate the launch of The Project we have a copy of the book to give away to one lucky blogger.

To enter the draw to win a copy of The Project we want you to tell us what you think is the most boring book in the world.  It could be an actual book that you have read or you could make up your own title of the most boring book in the world.

Here are a few examples:

Tell us what you think the most boring book in the world is and win The Project.  Remember to tell us your name, age and your email so that we can contact the winner.  If you’re not sure how to post a comment, check out the For Kids tab at the top of the page.

Read the terms and conditions below.

The most boring book ever for me is “Treasure Island”. I get really frustrated about the old fashioned words and I’ve tried to read it several times but I never get past the fifth chapter

I think the most boring book in the world is The Dinosaur’s lunch by Jaqueline Wilson because it was really quick and had no dilemmas. No offence to Jaquie! I really like her books but that one was just one of her worst.

I’m not entering the competition as I’m a grown up. Megan R you don’t say how old you are but I think when you read the Dinosaurs lunch it was too young for you which would have made it REALLY boring. Books for younger children have less complicated storylines than books aimed at 9-12 year olds. Stick to Jacquelines books in the older fiction section of the library and you will be sweet.

I think the titles of the following books sound so boring I don’t even want to try and read them.
    Smith by Leon Garfield
Mouse and his Child by Russell Hoban
    Key Collection by Andrea Cheng
    Feathers by Jacqueline Woodson

The most boring book I have ever read was called It came from Ohio by RL Stine because it talks about boring info that you don’t need to know. I only got to the third chapter.
