Mirrorscape by Mike Wilks

Step into the world of the Mirrorscape and explore the secret behind the paintings.

A dangerous world were anything is possible.

You make a painting, draw the special Mirror mark, trace it and you’re in a world of fantasy, intrudge and horror.

A line could turn into anything in the Mirrorscape, a rub out could be a monster, and a smudge could spell disaster.

When Mel, a farm boy from a distant country is whisked away to Vlam, a huge city full of people, buildings and painting, lots and lots and lots of paintings.

Mel is taken in as an apprentice in a school of art because of his skills.

Mel makes friends with one of his fellow apprentices, Ludo and a kitchen girl called Wren.

When their art master disappears, they must travel into the Mirrorscape to save them ,the master and their town.

Walk into the Mirrorscape and explore it to your heart’s content but beware of the many dangers that await you in the paintings that you seek……

I think this book is suitably for ages 10 and up and

I would give this book a 10 out of 10 because I can’t find anything wrong with it.
