Tēnā koutou tamariki ma.  This week we are celebrating Maori Language Week with te mahi kai (the language of food).  Each day we’ll post the names of 5 different foods in te reo Maori, from chocolate to kiwifruit and spaghetti to ice cream.  If you know any other kai (food) related words feel free to add them to our posts.
