Return to Camp Half-Blood in Heroes of Olympus

If you loved the Percy Jackson series and wanted to read more about Camp Half-Blood then you’ll want to read The Lost Hero, the first book in Rick Riordan’s new Heroes of Olympus series.  Here’s the blurb from the book:

“When Jason, Piper and Leo crash-land at Camp Half-Blood, they have no idea what to expect. Apparently this is the only safe place for children of the Greek Gods – despite the monsters roaming the woods and demigods practising archery with flaming arrows and explosives.

But rumours of a terrible curse – and a missing hero – are flying around camp. It seems Jason, Piper and Leo are the chosen ones to embark on a terrifying new quest, which they must complete by the winter solstice. In just four days time.

Can the trio succeed on this deadly mission – and what must they sacrifice in order to survive?”

Here is a cool book trailer for the new series:

Reserve your copy now to be one of the first to read The Lost Hero.

Sounds exactly the same as the first Percy Jackson book. Theres 3 heroes that go to camp half blood. Theres a curse thingy going on and the kids have to get something that was lost in a short amount of time. It kinda annoys me that it seems like its going to be basically the same as Percy Jackson. But I’m not sure that will stop me buying it…

They are about kids who find out that they are half human, half Greek god. They have to go on a quest and it’s a race against time. They have to fight Greek monsters along the way. I think you should read them, but maybe start with Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief which is the first book.
