Which book setting would you like to visit on your Summer holiday?

The Summertime Reading Club is on now and throughout the Summer holidays you have lots of chances to win on the Christchurch Kids Blog.  Each week we’ll have a competition that you can enter to win book vouchers from PaperPlus, one of our fantastic sponsors.  Did you know that you get a $5 PaperPlus voucher when you’ve completed your reading log?

Our second competition is super easy to enter.  Just leave a comment on this post telling us ‘Which book setting would you like to visit on your Summer holiday?’.  Make sure you put your name and your email address or phone number so that we can contact you if you win.  We’ll draw one lucky kid who will win a $40 PaperPlus voucher.   So get commenting and you’ll be in to win.  Competition closes Thursday 9 January 2014.

See below for terms and conditions

  • To enter this competition you must be between 5 and 12 years old and live in Canterbury. We may ask for proof of your address and your age.
  • If you are a winner, you consent to your name, photograph, entry and/or interview being used for reasonable publicity purposes by Christchurch City Libraries.
  • Staff of Christchurch City Libraries and their immediate families are not able to enter.
  • The competition ends on Thursday 9 January 2014 at 6pm.
  • We will notify the winners by telephone and/or email on Friday 10 January 2014.
  • The Christchurch Kids Blog judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

    Ewen Wong said,

If I were to chose a book setting to be in for my summer holiday, I would like to go into the port from Septimus Heap to visit Ma Custard’s all-day all-night sweet shop as well as the manuscriptorium by the House of the Foryx.
