Which book character would you like to take on holiday with you?

The Summertime Reading Club is on now and throughout the Summer holidays you have lots of chances to win on the Christchurch Kids Blog.  Each week we’ll have a competition that you can enter to win book vouchers from PaperPlus, one of our fantastic sponsors.  Did you know that you get a $5 PaperPlus voucher when you’ve completed your reading log?

Our third competition is super easy to enter.  Just leave a comment on this post telling us ‘Which book character would you like to take on your Summer holiday with you?’.  Make sure you put your name and your email address or phone number so that we can contact you if you win.  We’ll draw one lucky kid who will win a $40 PaperPlus voucher.   So get commenting and you’ll be in to win.  Competition closes Thursday 16 January 2014.

The character I would most like to take with me on holiday would be Andy from the Just series by Andy Griffiths
I would like to take him because he likes to play jokes like me and he makes me laugh. We would talk about our favourite hobby: Annoying older sisters! 🙂

I would choose Sophie from the Dick King Smith books to take on holiday. I would choose Sophie because she wants to have a farm when she grows up and so do I. We would talk about what animals and plants I should have on my farm, and she could give me advice.

I would chose to take Lora from the last 13 on holiday because of her great defense and serious but bubbly personality. I also like it that she is always happy to help and can easily connect with others.

We could talk about all her awesome parts of missions and go to Jedi to review her dreams as well as experiencing her action-packed daily life.
